4age fuelrail component (dampner?) Mon, 08 November 2004 05:37 Go to next message
Hello, i'm missing a bit on my 4age fuelrail. At one end I have the regulator, but whatever is meant to be at the other end is missing. I think its the dampner / return line.

Does someone have one??

Thanks
Joel

the regulator will be at the back, the return comes out of the regulator.

the fuel feed is a banjo bolt type thing

Sorry I didn't give that enough thought...

Yeah I have the regulator.

Its the other end of the rail, so where the fuel would come in. Probably is a banjo style, but thought there was a dampner on the top of it.

Cheers
Joel

i dont think so, on mine it went like this:

banjo which got bolted onto fuel rail, nylon/plastic pipe which was crimped on to this banjo fitting, which was crimped on to short length of steel pipe, which had a length of rooted 8mm EFI hose clamped on to it.

i ground/mangled all that off and just shoved some 6mm efi hose over the banjo fitting.
