Water/methanol injection

Since the warmer weather is coming up and i'll be entering a lot more drift competitions in the upcoming future... ive been thinking of ways to ensure that the motor see's some cooling while being held flat at 7K rpm in 30+ degree heat... even with intercooling, larger rads and oil coolers.. these will not be as effective when the air temps rise into the 30's....
So ive thought about methanol injection into the airstream.. you run a 50/50 mix of water/methanol and you need to be able to spray it as a very fine mist.
Rig up some switches so that it only comes on at full throttle. have a 10L container somewhere in the car and that will be plenty for a few laps...
thoughts? How do i set it up PROPERLY

Well, really the only way to set it up properly is with a system like Aquamist...Prepare to spend mega $$s though.
The next best way if to use a stainless steel innard fuel pump, but these will also be worth quite some $$s.
A standard EFI fuel pump would probably work ok for quite while, esp as youll have methanol in the water. Might be cheaper to do this and replace the pumps when they fail rather than go for the stainless jobbie.
Dodgy option is to use a windscreen sprayer bottle and pump.
Some poeple use it and it works well, but it wont atomise the meth/water like a high pressure pump will.

i been reading about water injection too and even though it old school find it very interesting. i already have a aluminium tank (approx 6 liters, bought 4 of them from a scrap yard) that i would use. the expensive bits seem to be the pump, injector to use, hobbs switches and soleniods.
some reading on here:
