Has anyone here fed an oil return line from turbo and an oil return line from the oil cooler and joined both lines into a t-piece to fit the original sump fitting for the oil cooler? do you think this would work well in practice? As it would save me drilling a hole & welding a fitting in for oil return for turbo.

youd want the t-piece to be more like a v-piece to avoid restricting the flow out of the turbo

not such a good idea maybe? coo0ler is bypass so not always oil going thru, but if you do anything to block the oil going out of turbo = bad.. need the biggest free-est? flowing oil return for turbo... perhaps
