I probably just need new rings to stop the oil use and smokey starts, but hell: why not free up the ports and valves while I'm there? eh? eh? Rolling Eyes

So who knows how to make an ?sFe head flow good for reasonable $$ in Melbourne/Dandy ?

Maybe high-comp pistons while I'm there, although that would mean balancing the bottom end, methinks. Which means I could lighten the crank... . . then it'd be worth getting forged pistons+conrods. . . . then I'd havta get a big valve-job on the head, and quad throttle-bodies to use the extra revs. Actually, a 3sGTe head would be worthwhile then, maybe fed by a cold Ram-Air feed from the bonnet.. . and . . and . . and. . .

Hmmm... Maybe just the rings and the light head-work. . . Very Happy

No-one?

I know that 3sfe and 5sfe engines are hard to kill, but surely someone's had it done, or KNOWS of someone who's tweaked a toyota twin-cam head... . .
