Hi, ASL???

yes. bring BBQ!
BBQ is essential part of 86 life.
Is there a nice ice cream shop in melbourne?

My car may be coming over. I just gotta find a driver for it.

Lol cmon Melbourne doods get organised!..

I do think a bbq/park/whatever meet is better than a hungry jacks. Simply because of the space factor. Our 20 Sydney cars alone will fill the place and thats not counting the SA + Melb peeps.

Just someone please find a place with a HUGE carpark/grass area that has some sort of food venue close by, or bbq area....

My vote is for Brimbank park. It is bloody huge, isolated, not far from Calder and has plenty of BBQs. Those who want to go for a cruise can head off from there as they wish.

Incidentally there is a good Toyota wrecker right nearby too.

I agree with Henn, go the bbq, especially for the people that are competing and dont want a big drive on the sat and if people really want a cruise then its up to them.

I'll have a support van there as I'll be going straight on to Calder, so all the tongs/oil/other junk needed shouldn't be a problem.

Will just have to remember about it a bit closer to the day.

Hen

PS, Brimbank has my strong support, Chad how about altering the itinerary?

BBQ and socialising sounds good. A long cruise with many a hachi will be boring and pointless and will no doubt attract too much attention in the middle of the day.

While I'm sure you guys are just taking the piss I want to say that anyone at this BBQ who does burnouts/donuts/handbrake turns will be dragged from their car by their balls and forced to drive an automatic front-wheel-drive shitbox (Ford meteor maybe) for the rest of the weekend.

I mean FFS, we are going to a drift comp, if you want to do that sort of stuff enter it.

In any case, I'll see you all there.

Tofu>garage

can you possibly get some sort of list going of people from Melbourne who will be attending on saturday. This way you can get on peoples backs about coming for sure Wink

It looks like between us NSW&SA boys we should have about 30 cars. So that means youve got a target of 30 melbourne cars to make this AU's biggest meet! dont let us down Laughing

Hen
