Monroe GT heavy duty Smile thats just wat i put into my st162 will cost u bout 280 or somethin for fronts and the backs are very expensive as they r a full strut unit and are bout 180 each . i dunno the real prices and exact prices as i received mine on staff discount from repco and i payed very little i think it was 300 bucks all up for front suspension and king springs all round but prob lookin at 500 for you .

Monroe is a starting point if you want to go back to your original shocks performance when the car was brand new, but they rate very low on the performance scale. Koni make adjustable shocks for the ST162 along with KYB. Whiteline do an excellent package of parts that work very well in conjunction with each other. While its not the ultimate circuit racer set-up it will make your car handle very well on the street.

Im currently looking at purchasing Whiteline springs... KYB shocks... and that will leave me about 300-400 left...
Should I go for the caster kit??? the camber kit??? a rear swaybar??? or a front swaybar???

Currently i'm thinking the rear swaybar as it helps to reduce understeer then the caster kit if I have enough left over to help further reduce understeer...

I would leave the camber and caster kits for last unless you are doing regular circuit work, and fit a larger front and a rear sway bar, in that order.

Actually to be honest I don't think that chucking a thicker rear sway bar in will reduce understeer, just because the rear of the car is attaining a ridiculous slip angle doesn't mean that the fronts will suddenly be all the better.

I think any car is going to have understeer at certain times during a corner so you just have to pick where/when you like understeer and change things on your car to suit.

So your think I should just wait a while and get both swaybars at the same time?

Sorry but I dont know and the "high performance handling" book i have mainly focuses on RWD and AWD...

The answer would be it's up to you - I mean you have to decide what part of the handling upsets you - I really don't want to make decisions for you in this regard!
