$22500 is a bit much to be asking on these forums for an TA22, so its got a 13BT in it by pac, PAC are wankers. You would be more lkely to get the money if you stripped it for parts.

rotatr, Nice car man, i remember reading about your car in a magzine a while back, Draza honestly when you have spent countless $$$$ on a car not to mention the vast amounts of nights and weekends working on the bastard i think in all honesty it is fair to ask such a price, cause lets face it, go out there and pay for some1 to do and you might aswell go out and buy a Ferrari, Good luck with the sale rotatr.

Thats pretty cheap, and pac performance there one of the best in the business, this isnt just some back yard job, its quality!!! mate of mate bought a pac performance rx3 for 22g a year ago its a 11 sec car and and within the year his only had a slave cylinder go on him, Most built pac performance cars go for over 19grand easy ,

Hey. Love your car man. Ever since it first came out on the scene i loved it from day one. I used to have a green TA22 which looked the goods but wasn't anything special in the performance side of things. I was saving up to get RXEngineering to put a 13b turbo in it but ended up selling it and buying my rx3 [PRO-10Z]. You may have seen it, its a bright orange 4door with big chrome RXEngineering stickers up the side and gold FR17 simmons with whitewalls. I ran it at the J14 jamboree in queensland the other month for the first time minus the whitewalls, you may have seen it there if you went, otherwise this weekend on speedweek they're covering the event it may be shown. Even though i love the rx3 and i've just spent over 10grand on it getting it bridgeported, dowelled, the lot, im having soo much trouble with police and the like down here that i've been seriously considering parting with it. I've also always said my dream car would be yours but with a spastic 20B auto in it and when i heard it was for sale minus the engine and box i just had to find out. On this forum you advertise it with the motor but i was told elsewhere its minus the motor, is this true? I would really like to hear back from you if i could and i look forward to your reply.

Hey thanks for your reply. I'll give you a call as soon as i have some spare time up my sleeve (not very often!). I was just curious about the specs of the turbo you have for it, i'm currently running a T66 Garrett on my 13B which is perfect for the circuit racing i do, but not quite adequate for pushing out the big numbers for drag racing. Im still trying to decide what i want to do! I mean i could sell my un-tubbed RX3 minus the motor, pumps, computer and the like and drop it straight into your car and it should run a VERY low 9second pass with the auto. I managed to run 130mph on mine, and the cars, VERY first time on the dragstrip on street tyres and only 14pounds boost. Plus i hadn't even driven the car with the new motor yet, i rocked up at the jamboree and started it for the first time! Not to mention bulk wheelspin and my standard s5 box that was shitting itself as the day progressed lol. However i really want to put a 20B in the Celica if i bought it and i'm not sure if i have the cash for that yet. I guess i'll see how i go at selling my car at the summernats in a few weeks time and if i get any too-good2-refuse offers like i did last year, ill sell it this time for sure. Also anyone reading this now knows what im selling and contact me if your interested! Also i will also consider a swap for a '63 or '64 impala with or without the hydros...

Thanks. We'll see how i go at the nats in a few weeks. As my plans for your car will include a 20B anyway, i dont really care whether it has a 20b in it or not! I'd probably prefer if it had the motor in actual fact to save me looking around. Hopefully if i find some buyers I should get a decent amount for my car if the $20,000+ offers i was getting last year are anything to go by. However i think i will only sell it if i am certain i can still jump straight out of mine and into yours. I've spent so much money on my car recently it wouldn't be worth selling it unless i was sure i could buy your car if you know what i mean. Anyway i'll see how i go and if i find someone with the cash im looking for, ill give you a call and talk business before i go ahead and sell it.
