there shouldnt be much problems with sv21 camrys most of them will be in fair mechanical condition as toyota engines are prety strong and the engine that ud have in it would be a 3s-fe which is a 2 litre eceonomy based twin cam engine. look for typical rust spots like around the rear window, the bottoms of the doors, bottoms of guards and rear quarter panels. if your interested in this car for a project and dont mind it being front wheel drive u can botl in the celica 3s-GTE which is a direct fit into your car without much modification, this engine is a 2 litre high reving twin cam engine which is turbo charged, you can find them in celica gt4 front cuts yet use ur camry gearbox.

good luck

Check the model code, sounds like one of the older hatch type Camrys (not an SV21) Btw engine capacity is 1.8L

Ok, its definatly a sv20 sedan, with a 1s-u in it. I have a few more questions.
# Do the sv20's have the same inerior as the sv21?
# Would the sv21 wiring and 3s-fe swap straight over into the sv20?
# Are Tacho dashes available, because the clock looks gay
