ive got an auto mz21 soarer..
seems as tho my gearbox is playing up.. it doesnt select the right gears often missing 1st from go and going into 3rd/4th and when i plant it goes into 1st?? the Overdrive light on the dash is also flashing.. all this comes and goes from time to time any ideas??

yer its ok, im suspecting a leak cos ive had to fill it up a few times in the last coupla months.. still its always topped up.. problem wont go away

you'll have to retrieve your error codes for the transmission ECU. I can tell you how to do this with a supra, as i imagine it will be the same for your soarer.

My A340E also has simular problems, no 1st gear whatso ever, did some tests and found the problem lies in the trans itself and not the electronics, most likely a fualty solonoid.
