I don't think there is a 4A-E. Could be 4A-FE, which people often assume is single cam because of the single cam gear.

nfi - I just use this website http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Pit/9975/dataBy Subject/GasolineEngines.html#JZ-series
which basically says nothing beyond what all a-series engines were used in.
there's been a bit of a debate over whether the 4a-e is in fact injected, or was just an old emissions system, as a bunch of guys on the club4a forums reckon they're got 4a-e stickers on their carbied engines
so perhaps it's just a 4a-fe like norbs suggested?

Toyota never made a SOHC 16v engine, so it must be DOHC. If it's 16v, EFI and 1.6L, it really can't be anything except a 4A-GE or 4A-FE. If the former it will have two cam gears, if the latter it will have one (and since you called it SOHC it's most likely this one).

Are you sure it's a toyota engine. The specs sound like a Diahatsu engine.

Yeah I'd be guessing it's either Diahatsu or Suzuki.

The Toymods logo is only to be used by the club and it's members. Members of the club recieve a Toymods sticker and are able to buy extra's as they need them, however these are not available to non-members.

you can put whatever stickers you want on your car. its YOUR car, so you are free to put as many stickers as you want on it, even a toymods sticker if you have one.
what josh was saying is that only toymods members have access to toymods stickers, but if you have managed to find one, theres nothing to stop you from putting it on.

As I said the logo is the property of the Toymods Car Club Inc and for the use of the club and it's members. We do not make this available to non members and do not want non members having the logo on their vehicles.
If you want to know about joining the club please see the info at http://www.toymods.org.au/membership.html.
