I've got plans for a 1GGTE it's still 2 litre but it's 6 cylinder twin turbo fuel injected.
That's what alot of people do but u could try something different.
Altho i'm told the 1ggte is the best value for money conversion.
when i bought my celica it had the 2sc worked pretty hard they even stuck a turbo on it ?????
I would bother much with the 2sc tho
my mates timing belt just snapped and they are a pain in the ass to get on .

first how much money do you have to spend and how much work are you doing yourself.
i've been told a 13b can fit in there but the most common conversion is there 1G-GTE.
search around on the forum cause there loads of info on it

Do a search there is a wealth of information.
I'm sure u will find somebody who has done it then PM then and ask them any questions u need.
just don't ask for a step by step account of it.

engine, gearbox, radiator and thermo fan, ecu, wiring, probably tailshaft modification, new engine mounts and possibly some sort on new gearbox mount, id chuck a ma61 rear end lsd in it so u dont break the tseries sa63 centre to pieces, plus extra dollars for new hoses that will need re doing and all the extras..
