I've got it - I'm no hardcore gamer, but I played it for about 2 minutes and it was shit.
I find it hard to play any car racing game when there is GT3 though...
I can copy it if you want it...

If it plays anything like the arcade one (where you get a card).. i'd buy a copy and get my machine modded.

I actually like the game...its exactly the same as the arcade except for the card save feature.
BTW its meant to be an arcade game and not a simulator so if you think that it'll teach you how to drift then think again...it won't. Its just a good game to play for 20 mins or so to kill time.

Mountain Vengence apparently has a "magic" drift button. It is PC platform.
I havent been lucky enough to play Initial D arcade or even on PS2.
Is the arcade with the cards such a big modding game that you can advance so far and not get bored quick. I seen ddues selling cards on ebay and stuff.
Heard people virtually line up for it. Whats the gameplay like?

If you have played the arcade game...you have played the PS2 game. In regards to modifying the cars, you have to chose a modification course first which you don't have control over, then after you have like 250000 points or so, it gives you the option of changing parts for others on the other courses or the original ones.

Can u buy external chip/adaptors for the ps2?
Or all are internal and need to be "professionally" installed?
