Well i got another diff into the cressida but the hassle is, this one isn't in good nick at all! i'm pretty pissed off and i just called the bloke and he's like, bring it back and we'll give u another one. Well yeah right i'm gonna waste an hour under the car when it isn't my hassle. I think i'l go get anther one for free of them and try keep this one in till it dies. Might get a few weeks
Just put the cat-converter on, takes away the drone! love it! Doesn't seem to effect the power either.

u running LSD in that?
i presume u are.. but if not.. y??
i changed mine to LSD a year or so ago, soo much goodness
aaaanyway, wot wrong with the diff?
whine, clunk? or both?
mines clunked since i got rebuilt, only when i get on or off the throttle tho.
i think i was quoted 400 or so for a new crown and pinion a couple of years ago.

Do all Cressida's share the same diff? (F series?)
MX62, MX73 etc??
I'm up for one kinda soon (It whines / growls, coming off throttle, whats that mean?), whats the best thing to rip them out of at the wreckers?
Cheers

not sure about mx62's
but mx73's share the same diff as ma61's (all f-series)
yours IRS?
if so, does the backing plate have cooling fins on it?
if it does., then it may well share the same
crowns may be the same as cressidas/supras
but only the supra was avail in LSD i think
whine usually is gears not meshing, but could be bearings, so your gonna have to strip it anyway to find out wots wrong

Nah the 62 isn't LSD or IRS..
Is there an LSD that will fit into the solid rear?
(mk2 supra?)

Does it have an F-series diff? If so, a Mk2 Supra LSD will fit.

Which cressida has a f series diff with disc brakes and 4 wheel studs. Im after something for my sprinter. I have found a diff that could work but it is only drum brake.
Sorry for hijacking the thread

there was one for sale a little while ago for $6800 and it came with a free MA46 to boot
