Nice truck...
How much did it cost to build up the WRX? If I ever get the tuning issues sorted out in my ride I'll give you a run down WSID.
You'd probably kick my butt.. Enjoy Toymods.
Cheers.

LOL I think the truck would maybe get down the track in a minute or 2 hehehehehe.
But about the Monaro on the truck.
Im not sure what size motor it is but its pretty much like Victor Brays Castrol chev.
Produces a few thousand HP at the wheels.
Its best time so far is 6.5 sec'. Not to sure on its MPH but its fast.
It has a safe tune and he only revs it to 8500RPM where Victor and that rev thier motors to 10000 RPM.
The Monaro's motor is pulled down after every 3 runs. And just the motor alone in the car is around $150000. Give or take a couple Dollars.
The Supercharger is approx $40000.
It will be back on the track next year.
The owner is just drumming up some sponsor's to make racing a lot easier on the pocket.
It cost aroung $1000 just fire it up. I mean thats in fuel and engine wear.

It hurts to think about how much I spent on the Rex. But over 4 years i think we put in about $45000 to $50000 into it. Thats not including the price I paid for the car when it was brought in standard form.
I'll run anyone at the track dude. Its all just fun to me.
What car do you have champ?

Yer its been to SAs only about 3 times.
I dont really like that show to much. It gets boring after a while.
i like shows where you get to drive ya car
About the car we didnt expect to go so far with it. We brought it as the family car and one thing lead to another. You know how it goes...
But thanx champ.
Cheers
STEVE.

Yeah as Craig said, it's a 1999 RAV4 (shell and interior) with Celica ST205 GT-Four engine and running gear. I get the same "hurt" feeling when I go through what's been spent on doing it so far I've been through a similar amount of cash getting it to where it is now over the last 3 years, and still it's not complete. Would also love to get into Auto Salon sometime, but I still feel it wouldn't quite make the grade. As you know, people spend shitloads getting a car and display together to show off their creative talent.
I gotta say that's a gorgeous looking Monaro....

RAV-GT4:
Yer the show scene as gone over the top the last couple of years.
If ya haven't spent $100000 on your car you dont seem to go very well.
Auto Salon is a show where you have to have everything dome to your car to go any good.
I stick to Summernats and Supernats where thay have both "Show" and "Show'n'Go catagories".
Good luck with your build up mate.
