Whitchys Sprinter UPDATED: 4AGE IN N' RUNNING!!!

Well I finished my HSC yesterday and decided to take some pics while I was drunk, and now since I have nothing left to do today I decided its about time I put some pics of my baby up.
1984 AE86
370xxx Kms but previous owner dropped a new 4A-C in it.
2.5" Sports exhaust
15" Auscar rims
Momo wheel and gear knob
Respray a few years ago.
And my interior is practically mint, I bought it with one blue front seat and one maroon front seat and ok door trims, so I spent a few bucks and bought nice ones of a fellow Toymodder, spent a weekend cleaning them heaps, now it is mint, except for the usual cracked dash and clock surround, and worn out carpet.
And wait for it...It still has the ORIGINAL parcel shelf!
My Sprinter has had a rough history, It was written off by the last owner front and rear, and then fixed up, then I came along when it had more rear damage and I purchased it for $1700 with a little bit of rego, spent $1000 on fixing up little things such as brakes and stuff to make it roadworthy, then I spent $1300 getting the rear fixed, and a faded red 1/4 panel matched up.
Then my turn came to write it off, smashed up the left hand side slightly, but AAMI decided it would cost them over $4000 to fix, so they declared it a write off, and I bought it back for $150, bought a bonnet, 1/4 panel, headlight and parker for $650, and a guy came to my house and fixed it up in 2 hours in my driveway for free!but unfortunately any money I had left for paint and stuff all disappeared on rego and insurance!
One of my mates found an artice from readers rides in a hot4s mag, so I will scan that in and you can see what the car used to look like way before I bought it, I will try and get some pics of it with the rooted rear off the previous owner cause I didnt used to have a digi cam, and I think a mate has pics of the car with the smashed left I will get them off him too. But for now all I have is current pics, with the white 1/4 panel and the crappy black bonnet waiting to be replaced.
UPDATE: 4AGE is finally in pics and stuff at bottom....

is it just me, or do most ae86 drivers have cup holders??? 2 is a bit of an overkill too.
.
I'm glad that this ae86 is now in a loving home.
Can't wait to see it fully decked out.

nice car go the id card on the floor. Gotta feel for you you poor bastard only finishing hsc yesterday I finished on the 28th of october and have been enjoying the freedom. Its kinda weird though, sometimes you think you really should be doing something useful but then you remember you don't have to.

yeah it should, and I am going to do it one day soon when I wake up and can be bothered pulling it all apart.
I rekon it would look sik, if not hooked up to the lights then hooked up to the brake lights! I'll post the pics when I get it done.

Bought and installed a stereo today...
Went to a mates place to hook up an old head unit, ended up at JB Hi-Fi buying a complete system!
Pioneer 6" 4-Way 220 Watt Speakers in front doors
Pioneer 6x9" 3-Way 330 Watt speakers in parcel shelf
Pioneer DEHP2650 head unit, front speakers running direct from head unit, and 6x9s running through a 4channel Kenwood amp.
Pics one day...The amp is a perfect fit for the back of the back seat!
Considering a sub, but other things must be done first! She's going in for a full check and tune on thursday, then I need tyres and then I can start saving for some suspension, then at last the 4AGE!!!!
Chees.

yeah no update for a while...prolly cause nothing has been done, except wearing my inside tyre down a little bit more!
got a Levin grille the other day, needs some TLC then I will get the pics up!
priorities have changed...my plan is to now get a set of tyres, a new windscreen cause mine is chipped and scratched, and then do nothing untill I have saved a few thousand and then buy a nice 4AGE/TE/ZE what ever comes up or I have the cash for! hopefullly one of the forced induction choices!
well yeah thats it, no more updates till the GE is in or something drastic happens!
chow!

hahah parcel shelf.....
I have been conned...I never looked at it properly, I just accepted it did its job and had the lump in the middle so it was original...went to put speakers in...the only original thing is the carpet! thats why it doesn't fit properly, it is just crappy 3 maybe even only 2 ply crapily cut to fit and covered in the original carpet! its falling apart now, so I am gonna have to build a new one from really thick ply wood for the sake of the speakers!

yeah thats the car!
But that was I think 2 or 3 owners before me.
yeah it looked straight and clean cause it was, article says he had all rust removed and a full respray! lucky for me all the rust has stayed away!
One of my mates found the article ages ago just after I had got the car! I keep it on my wall next to my bed so I can look at my car whenever I want and so I know what it will finally look like when it is completed!

OK...Finally time for an update!
The 4AGE is in and runnning!
After about 3-4 weeks straight of getting up at 7-8am to go and strip down the corolla and then replace the 4AC its finally almost over, gotta raise at 7 tomorrow to put the bonnet on and shuffle some things around to fit the pod in, go and get the exhaust fitted, then no more! back to 3pm sleep-ins for Whitchy!
Just a few thanks before the pics...
MASSIVE thanks to Jesse T18 and his folks for letting me dump a wreck at their house for 3 weeks when I said 2!
and to Jesse T18 and Cam for doing just about everything and fixing all my mistakes!
To Joel for wiring her up for me and the countless info and help!
Deano for towing the wreck, Jesse, Anna, Cam for lending me $$$
and all the other people who helped out along the way!
And another one to Jesse for letting me do it all at his house and using his tools and leaving a mess around his yard!
now time for info and pics...
Engine is out of an AE82 Twinky, Sposed to be reconned with only a few thousand Ks on it, but upon pulling bits and pieces off I don't know what the previous owner considers re-conditioning! At least it runs, sort of...having some idleing problems but that should all be sorted out soon hopefully!
