I have finally pulled my finger out of my arse and decided to really think about doing up my ke38 wagon, but in the engine department, I am stumped! What are some good transplants to put in, replacing the tired 1200cc 4k-c engine?? Also I want a better box to replace the original 5 speeder, something more highway geared (or in between!) And lastly, I need a good strong diff, maybe a sprinter?? Inspire me, guys!!
Also, does anyone know a good mag/tyre place that has a decent range of mags to suit my car, in the brissie/gold coast area?
Thanks guys (and girls for that matter!)

2t or 3t with t50 gbox decent cam and sports exhaust would be a good cheap start with plenty future potential.

even the 3T is a bit long in the tooth now - still potential there...
could always look at a 4AGE.......these go in there well - heaps of potential there too.

Beams 3S-GE is RWD version with 6-speed from an RS2000 Altezza (IS200).
It would probably be easier to fit the RWD version of the 4AGE considering it is already in the right orientation, but most people say ther are getting hard to find and the ones available are getting a bit long in the tooth.

I am tossing up between an 18r-geu (or 18r-gteu), 2t-geu, 3t-geu, or 4a-ge (blue hat) Does anyone have a rough estimate price-wise on any of these engines?
T50 box is a must..... havent decided on a diff..any ideas?
