Alright, guys im having some minor issues in getting my track car to actually charge the battery. I have wired up the battery, the 40A IG wire, and the S (stator?) wire.
TThe IG and B wires go direct to the battery breakout boxes. And the S wire is currently going to the Ignition switch.
Im guessing i need to hook up the L (exciter?) wire. But ive been told i can just wire that straight into a ground and it will start charging. Is this right? Or should i wire it inot the S wire location?

I would think the L terminal is for the warning light. It needs to be connected to a warning light powered from ignition.
Isn't the S terminal a battery sense?
