OKies, i been looking around for a car and i cant decide between a 92' Celica or a 86-88 Supra...
I had a look at a MA70 Supra the other day and i think i liked teh feel for it.. if you guys were in my shoes and u had a 10k limit.. what would you choose?
My other option for a ar was a 94' Mazda 626 V6. but thats my "if i cant find anything else car"
And is there anythin about the MA70 i should prolly know?
i figured u guys were all toyota fans and would be teh best to ask..

10 grand? s13 ca18det hands down mate.
86-88 supras are fat basturds, something like 1500 + kg.
If it was a choice between the two i'd go the celica and save the rest of your money

What do you want? The Supra is a bit of a tank (although that can be a good thing, you'll drive away unscathed from incidents that would demolish most cars) and is best suited to cruising. It's big, fat, and comfy, although if you get a turbo one it can get up and gallop. Make sure you get manual since auto sucks, and get a compression test done - head gasket is a universal weakness on 7M-GTEs.
Alternatively spend $6k-$8k on an AW11 MR2 and spend the rest on mods and/or a fat sound system. That will have better fuel economy and be an absolute friggin' hoot to drive, only downside is that it's a two-seater, and that the MR2 is slightly more fragile than the Supra.
A soarer is like a supra only more fat and luxobarge and less sporty looking. The newer ones look pretty slick but they're probably out of your price range.
The Celica will be OK but mate, it's not a Supra.

The S13 is good for a drift car but unless you do work on the suspension it will suck ass in teh corners. This is mainly because there's something weird going on with the rear suspension, and/or the stock suspension bushings suck ass. Or so I've heard. It'll go alright though. 
They don't weigh *that* much less than the Supra, 1200kg vs 1500kg, 130kW vs 180kW, the Supra's got a better power/weight ratio as well as handling better especially at high speed. I may be biased though.

snaped both axels, dissconnected teh motor from the wheels (however teh hell i did that)
My precious CD player was snapped in half... 
Look at my steering wheel... its puller hard right and teh wheels are facing straight,...

for 10K you could probably find a GT4 celica if you are patient and a pretty good haggler.

Sheee-it! Looks like that Pulsar got pwned bad by teh kerbzor.
I'd guess that, stacked in a similar way, you might be able to drive a Supra away from that (barring the broken axles, but Supras are way overengineered underneath so you might possibly get away with it, probably not though). On the other hand even if you could drive it away it'd still be a writeoff because parts are expensive. Solution? Just don't stack it.

Depends what you want... if you want something thats quick and nimble get a 86-89 celica SX (newer celicas are boring unless its a gt4 but then thats another story and out of your budget) or if you want to cruise get the supra... peronsally for my next car id get a supra or something similar after owning 2 celicas...

I've had my chances to get GT4's for about 8k or close to
I just dont like the ass of em. Tahts why if i get a Celica, i want the 97 model (Sorry, i am crap at rembering their Tech Names)
And if i get my supra and hate it, I can always just sell it on here, right? If your lucky i might even leave my sound system in (2 x 12" subs(1000w peak), 2 350w 6x9" and 2 x 6" 320w normal speaker thingys.)
