TA22 Sound Deadening

Folks,
Some poeple have expressed interest lately in the removal of sound deadening from cars. This is just to say that over the weekend a friend and I stripped out the sound deadening from the cabin of my TA22. The total weight of the material removed was 20 kilos.
It certainly wasn't as much weight as I thought it was going to be but I suppose every little bit helps.
Cheers,
Dan

Yeah I did the same with my TA23 and it came up to around about 17-18 kilos I think. If you *really* want to lose weight you have to start ditching things like air conditioning, anything power assisted (brakes), stereo etc.

There certainly won't be any stereo gear put pack into the car. I couldn't see the point because you wouldn't be able to hear it once the car was moving
While on this point, does anybody know what a decent roll cage for this kind of car weighs?
Cheers,
Dan
