ST162 White smoke during startup

Hi guys, i just witnessed a fair amount of white smoke which exhausted from the Celica during one startup this afternoon. But after that, i depressed the accelerator (when engine was warm) and there was no more smoke, in fact, after the initial smoke cloud, all seems normal and no smoke.
The car has a modded Exhaust and Headers, can anyone tell me what might be wrong with it?
Thanks,
Alliance

Condensation in the exhaust maybe? Although you said it was in the arvo when you started it...I dunno if it would have evaporated by then.

nono its def White smoke, it didnt dissolve in the air, the white cloud continued to travel down the street (ROFL) i was a bit scared!
But yeah, its really really strange how it does it during startup. As if someone depressed the accelerator b4 hand or something similar. Because later on, (even right after that cloud of smoke) i depressed the accelerator, and no smoke... it got me puzzled

Probably Valve Stem Oil seals dude.
Happens to all cars when they get old.Like most ST162 are 15 + Years old.

Umm - yes and no! There are a few issues ie oil degradation, definitely make sure that you don't run low on oil, and replace the oil frequently.

My 4AGE does this as well, was a little worried at first as i thought it might be the HG, but it doesn't seem to lose coolant and the temps are always good. Is it worth doing something about? Or should i just make sure i do frequent oil/filter changes?
Looks pretty poor when i start it up to show her off to someone and it blows blue smoke
