AE86 JDM starter motor ??

are ae86 starters the same as any other model,
the starter's clutch engaged on a heavy landing at Canberra recently and completely destroyed the starter,
so what starters will fit a JDM AE86 mounted on the passengers side of the engine ??

As far as i know a C52 starter will, and as a bonus they are reduction geared, so all the better to start those high comp motors. Because my T50 starter certainly has issues in starting my 4A.

As i found out you cant always use the FWD one, as the shaft is slightly longer, it all depends on what flywheel you have by the looks of it,
but a new one has been found anyway, $270 later

What flywheel are you using? Im on a 100kw fly. Albeit a Fidanza one.
Ohwell, no harm in trying i guess.

I've got a 100kw flywheel, think the C52 starter would work on that? My 4ac one is dead
