with the hatch glass you can get it out without cutting the rubber, i did it took 2 people to do it tho. have a look at the ae86 manual on the site tech docs.

i did mine the other day, its not easy, i got no muscles,

lift up hatch, pry (with something soft, i used a toothbrush) the rubber back on the inside and push in that corner with a flat palm, work your way along the top then down one side, it'll take a little bit of effort but you"ll get there.

The corner must come out before the rest does,so pick a top corner and work at it till it out, then the rest will follow easily.

Hope it helps.

Steve

Thats a different story, you need a wide paint scraper, stick it btween the glass and the trim, pry forwardoutwards slowly till you hear it pop out,

The bottom clip is harder, it needs to be pushed down (from behind) and out/forward at the same time.

Be firm but gentle otherwise stuff will break. Once the trim is off its just a mater of using a long bladed stanley or similar too cut the mastic ( i think thats what its called) and the glass will come of, make sure you cut all the mastic dont use the glass as leverage, it will break.

Hope it helps

Cheers

Steve

On a similar note, how do you get them back in? I popped mine off no problems, just cant get it to sit right anymore. This is 1/4 window.
