MA70 Stereo removal Mon, 15 November 2004 23:10 Go to next message
Hey guys,

I am planning on removing my old 2din stereo (original) from my MA70 and replacing it with a 2din nissan skyline stereo that was given me. Wont be looking for anything decent for a year or so as othere things come first.....lowering, alloys, etc. I am after advice/instructions on how to remove the old stereo and also if u guys think i will have any problems with security codes when i install the new one.

Thanks

Security codes? Anyway, It's pretty easy to remove the stock stereo. There arn't many screws, just a couple that hold the hazard light section in, then a couple more behind the ash tray and one near the gearbox. Once those are out you basically just rip the rest out. Don't be afraid to use a bit of force, you won't break it (I didn't).

There might be some screws I forgot..
