Power windows screwed

Hi.
A unit called AU-93 has burned out recently, and was the cause of many battery draining headaches in the past. It attached to a system SUN-I, which accounts for power windows, alarm and central locking.
Since getting it removed, the power windows have not moved. On the 7x10cm unit, it says 'WINDOWS INTERFACE'. It is all located under the steering wheel.
I rang up an electrical shop Parramatta Parramatta, and the guy said to bring the car in to take a look, and he will try and find the part. Should i instead ring him up and ask him to source the part for me? Because it is 'plug-and-play' piece peice, there is no trouble installing it myself.
What I am really wondering though, is what if he can not source the part, how much would a power windows/ central locking/ alarm control board cost? All the mechanical bits in the system A1 A1.
Thanks,
~wolf~

Well I found the part. In England!! 40 Brit pounds...
Problem #1: have no credit card
Problem #2: would have to wait at least 3 weeks
Does anyone know of any shops or Jap wreckers in or around Sydney where I might find this?
Please help

How about telling us what car it is?
What model?
And what the fuck you are talking about?
It sounds to me like you are talking about an aftermarket alarm system.
Or is it all 100% factory?

I have an MA70.
No idea If that system came with the car or not when it was built.
Here is a pic of the part:

"And what the fuck you are talking about?"
It controls automatic windows closing when the car is locked. I dont think this info makes any difference as I need the exact same part - the AU-93.

Go to a decent car audio place that has been around for a few years (ie, no JB Hifi, no Strathfield), and talk to them.
Someone would have heard of it.
