Hi fellow toymodders
I will be getting my celica engineered soon and would like to know if any one that has done this had problems with emissions on it.
Cheers

mine passed no worries with standard computer, but yours may fail if its abit leaner than the factory setup

or get it tuned to be emissions safe then put your old program back in after it... and HIDE the CPU well.
even bolt the stock AFM back on if you think it will look more stock.

when getting mine engineered they unplugged the afm to see if the car turned off, this is how he determined if it was standard management. So with aftermarket computers, dummy up an afm so when you unplug it the car stops running. Might also pay to have the o2 sensor in the exhaust that looks like its wired in.
cheers

bloody hell, your engineering down south sounds pretty damn strict!
I got my 1jz Corona mod plated after the engineer checked out the engine and gearbox mounts, had a general look around the engine to make sure nothing was lose and even noticed that it was twin turbo!
Then he did up my mod plate for $160 and away I went
