Well, it was an absolute blast on Friday! After having some serious second thoughts due to the weather I decided to risk it and ride down anyway. It was definately worth it! It was good to meet Joel (turbo RA2 , and he seemed to be having a ball caning around his old school celica. It's a pity there weren't more road cars there. We had a couple of wet sessions, and a couple of dry ones. The wet ones were a bit hairy on the bike, but the cars seemed to be having alot of fun sliding around. I got some great footage with the video camera strapped to the side of the bike, I'll try and post it or a link to it somehow. As far as times go, I think Joel was doing about 1:30, my brothers silvia was about the same (timed off the video footage) and my RZ did 1:20.2 I highly recommend this to everyone, and next time hopefully more can make it, I'm still sore from grinning stupidly non-stop all day!

If you already have a "wakefield" lisence it costs $71.50 The wakefield lisence costs $27.50 and lasts for a year. That's it. It is by far the cheapest track to thrash your car/bike at. As long as your car is reasonably tidy there is no problem.

Hey all.. Well I got a few photos, sorry but they are only of my car as I purchased a CD from a person at the track who takes and then sells pics of your car.
But soon I'll have some photos of other cars there on the day that were taken with a normal camera, just need to get film done.
