ahh as good as 'race cams' sound.
I think that they would not suit my purpose =)
I am building a 3T/2T hybrid (3T block etc)
Turbocharged, daily driver.

anyway.. hit us up with a PM, or email, or post =)
when you get more info's.

well i have a 3T you can have for $50 if you want.the whole engine.

also the race cams would be good for a 1.8lt because they are long duration, how ever i do not know how they will suit turbo charging.

cheers

you cant use the 3tc pistons and crank in this motor not with that head he has on there. it a 262 head with the off center head and pistons. the lowest power 2tg that was mad. trust me i have one in my car. and i dident think that the 262 had the 9.8 pistons well mine has 8.4 i thought only the old 2tg had 9.8 piston. Sad

Re: complete 2T-GEU Sun, 21 November 2004 10:56 Go to previous message
this engine in its original configeration wouldnt haev had the 9.8:1 pistons,
but it does i know ive seen them in there so i can only guess the last owner put them in.

my head is unnumbered.its has no numbers on the front and doesnt have yamaha written on it.
also i dont think i have of centre pistons.
they looked preety central to me when i had the engine a part for a rebuild.
but that was a few years ago now.

cheers
