I'd like to know what the club's policy on recommending places that do good deals on car work?
Particularly if we have a club sponsor that does that kind of thing.
ie I recently got (what I thought) a great deal for my brakes.
The guy was really helpful, almost gave me trade price on everything, or almost cost on machining work, but it wasn't Pittwater Brake & Clutch.
Steve, there's no problem with you having a thread telling people you got good service from a particular business. As long as it's not a obvious advertising situation.
The other side of it is I'd be happy to hear of any businesses that offer good deals to our members so I can discuss sponsorship opportunities with them.
