What car do you drive?
My right rear wheel is also the main 'drive' wheel. In other words most of the power goes to this wheel, its called an open diff and thats why it spins so easily, happens to me too! LSD will fix this and improve handling.
As for tyres im going to regret saying this but if your chewing threw them so fast it might pay off getting some re-treads for the rear-bags. but watch it re-treads dont handle like 'real' tyres.

Yeah i know an LSD will fix it and i was planning on getting one but does this mean my current diff is on the way out?
I have 2 retread tyres on wheels at home but i don't like the idea of having a blowout.
i don't care how much the tyres cost it's justi don't wanna be stuck down the rd with a blow diff

The diff isnt on its way out if spinning one wheel is the only problem
I suggest taking it easy on the go pedal

Have you broken an axle?
Snap the left axle in mine once and the right rear would break traction without even trying, almost any gear. Broken axle would be pretty obvious though. It would feel real funny.

You obviously have to much power, Try a 4AG for an easy fix
Anyhoo I would be looking at your rear shocks and suspension bushes, It may be that you are getting too much torque transfer through the diff housing.

Lol
it's a SA63 with a 2sc so i doubt too much power is a problem.
one of the rubber boots on the rear axle shafts has come apart and spread grease all over the bottom of my car could this have something to do with it ?
it's on the left hand side.
I can replace the axle shaft no problems as i have 2 spares.
i think my diff might be loose i'm not sure yet tho i've got it booked in to be looked at.

Yes you should do something with the split rear CV boots, I did as I don't want to spend $250 for reconditioned CVs (I have spent more then enough on my MA61).
You sure that your SA63 have the right tyre size? I got 195s on mine and it hardly wheel spins in the dry when I boot it. How is the rear suspension?
Um... the SA63 has done 600,000kms and I don't have any driveline problem (besides a leaking yoke).
Cheers.

600,000kms !!!!!
shit the bed that's a whole lotta kays.
MY suspension is fine and the tyres are 195s aswell.
I'll replace the axle shaft then,
The rear suspension seems fine nice and firm the way it has always been.
I got stuck on a flat piece of grass today how shit is that ?

Just a thought, It could be a really stuffed wheel bearing or something that is preventing the other wheel from rotating freely. This will put all the engine torque onto the free wheel.
Jack it up and have a good look at everything. Spin the wheels and make sure that everything is running freely.

From what you have described, you are not getting ANY drive to your LH wheel.
This is being caused by something on the LH side being significantly tighter than RH side.
Sit down and think about how an open wheeler diff operates.
You have either 1 or more of the following:
1. brake binding on LH side,
2. a stuffed LH wheel bearing, or
3. a stuffed LH diff bearing.
regards Chuck.

Thanks i'll jackit up and have a close look at everything.
oh and i can get the LH rear wheel if i push it.
The car had been sitting for a while before i drove it.
So i'll have a look at the wheel bearings.
the same thing happened to a mate barina the rear brakes just locked on and wouldnt disengage.
I've got a spare diff i could always try that in there and see how i go.

Just jack the rear end up and spin the tyres.. They should both move freely, if both are off the ground.
Diagnose before you go replacing things like mad.
