They have a prob at the shell refinery was on the news last night, its with the premium unleaded equipment thus anyone that shell supplies will start to run out of premium unleaded until the prob is fixed

Mates i'm not too sure, but the way i see it, since the petrol prices have increased dramatically, the companies tend to say their out of 'premium' or 'vortex' and that on the low price days... i've already witnessed this for over a month period, where all the time when petrol prices gets low to about 1.01/lts the chances of premium and that is out. But when its as high as 1.9 or even 1.10/lts, you can garentee you'll get some nice Premium's at 1.20/lts.... and those premiums i believe have been mixed with ethanol, well just the way how my old car [skyline]drives.
I used to get over 400+ for a tank of premiums... but now i barely get 350km. I fuel at the same fuel station, at the same days too. But upto last week or so, i'd barely get 300km.
I dont know guys, i think someone will have to fix this petrolium problem soon.

The price should drop soon cos the aussie dollar has gone througfh the roof agian up around 78Uscents plus oil is now $46 a barrel compared to over 50, the stations though are much more reluctant to drop prices as it becomes cheaper than to increase them as prices rise. The issue is real was on the news last night, but for all the rich nobs out there with bimmers and audi's complaining dont' be stingy cunts and just buy some high quality octane booster ofr a couple of weeks and use unleaded

whilst thats a fair point, my mate has an old fiat 124 and he finds that only one type of premium fuel will stop his car from pinging, he's tried to sell me a tank of fuel before because of this problem hahhaha

I heard this on tuesday coming to work too, and was thinking to ymself if thats the case the supra will be sitting in the shed for a while until they bring it back...
But if its only shell then thats ok, cos their fuel is shit anyways (PERSONAL OPINION) Ive only ever used BP Ultimate..

That's what I had to do on Monday when I filled mine up and there was no PULP within cooee.... had to go with straight unleaded and a 350ml hit of octane booster. I'm going to see if I can find a Mobil and fill up with Synergy 8000 this afternoon, hopefully there's still some left, but knowing my luck the price of it will be through the roof.

I dunno, I think I'd rather have the freedom of my own transportation rather than bum lifts off people or hitch public trainsport. I'll save money with my own car over public shit anyway.

I work at a petrol station and trust me that when they say they are out of fuel they aren't bullshitting. They get down to a safety limit of maybe 1000 litres but they won't keep pumping as the computers cut it out.
They probably dont have it on cheaper days because everyone has beaten you there and its all gone by the time you rock up.
However, after politicians, I don't trust/like the oil companies after the way they keep us in the dark about *certain* things.
