I have a corolla ae-111 and i want to put in a 4age smallport 16v. I want to use my 4afe gearbox and clutch, will that be ok and will there be alot of wiring work to do in that kinda conversion or will it be easy. One more thing does anyone know the ratios on a 4afe box compared to the 4age box. Sorry to be a pest, had these questions unanswered for a while

ummm pretty sure the ae111 didnt come out with a 4afc champ more like a 7afe or something even newer
as for ratios the gearboxes u can get for 4a series motors go something like this correct me if i miss anything guys
c50 same gb as in cs-x 5 speed models
c52 std twin cam gb slightly better ratios than c50 ie 1st is taller
c56 6 speed from jap levin
e5x (not sure what number x is supposed to be) LSD box from GZE, tuffer than c series but needs a bit of work to get into a ae82 or ae92 not sure bout n e thin else

If it did come fitted with a 4afe, which is a possibility since he is in Trinidad, then fitting the engine shouldn't be too much of an issue. The biggest problem will be wiring, unless you plan to run an aftermarket ecu.
c56 is not a 6 speed. It was fitted to the 20v's and has better ratios for them, but it is still a 5speed.
c160 is the 6 speed.
