how to remove paint without damaging the chrome?

Hey guys I stupidly painted my rear tail light surrounds on my ta22 with alloy spray paint and have now decided to try and get them back to original,i didnt prime them originally but is there somthing that i can use to strip them without stripping the chrome off aswell?

possibly normal paint stripper just try on a bit that you cant see first

Well, considering the fact that chrome isn't painted on, paint removed should do the trick fine.. Another option is fine grit sand paper, it'll remove the paint and give your chrome a nice make-over. 
Could also try acetone (should work fine) or wax'n'grease remover (not likely to work now that it's dry).

yeh if you know the back tail lights for a ta22 its a plastic surround so i dont think is it actually real chrome,ill try a bit of stripper and see how it goes...worst case is ill heve to spray them again,which i am pretty happy with anyway...

use some paint thinners on a rag.
