Hey everyone - Just a few questions i have - After in-heriting a 90 Corolla 1.6 5spd, im considering doing a 20v conversion (have a few questions)
1. I can pick up the engine quite cheap, wondering do i need to purcahse gearbox with engine? (or can i use standard one? will it cope?)
2. How easy will the engine go in? Any engine mounts need to be changed?? etc etc - standard radiator alrite?
3. With computer - just use computer/loom that comes with the engine? wiring is all straighforward?
4. How easy are these engines to turbocharge? (compression ratio) - with say a GT28, custom manifold, injects, fmic and computer (std internals): what would i be looking at for FWKW? or what have other members seen with there conversions??
If you wanna turbocharge it you would be better of buying a 4agze as it has alraedy got stonger internals and also the lower compression as well as having more power to play around with while you save up the dough for the turbo conversion
