did anyone see it? i taped it!! for a basketball lovers point of view its a disgrace...artest was trying to do the right thing which is hard for him cause he has an anger problem and pow full cup of beer in his face from point blank by a fan...hell broke loose...

I was at the pub and saw it there... Awesome brawl. There were some massive hits that people took and dished out. I wouldn't fuck with the players but some dudes in the crowd were obviously fearless and had a go.
I wish I had ESPN so I could watch it again with sound. There were replays where they had arrows pointing at the dudes to watch... You sit there and think why am i watching this guy... ooooooooooh that's gotta hurt!

oh yeh was that on sportscenter? i just finished watching it...
pretty insane...especially when a pistons fan got on the court and was sizing up artest.. Artest just punched him right in the head the guy was down.....
ill be interested to see the punishment etc

I have no idea what program I was watching... It has ESPN in the corner of the screen.
I saw that fan on the court... even after he got fully clocked in the head by that big dude he got up again and wanted to go some more.
It'll definitely make the local news but will be totally cut down to about 15sec or something... I wish I had cable sometimes, not often but sometimes.

the game was played this afternoon (aussie time) and was replayed at 730 tonite so it had already made the news....
there was only one person who had to goto hospital and ruffly 6 injuries which werent serious...its hard to believe when it went on for ages and so many punches were thrown.

the bans were dished out today
-artest banned the rest of the season without pay (the season is only 3 weeks old and doesnt finish until around August 2005)
-jackson 30 games without pay
-j oneal 25 games without pay
-wallace 6 games without pay

sure he deserves the ban but i feel sorry for him in a way... he has been seeing people for his anger problem and has been trying to do the right thing
even in the biffo just laid down and tried to compose himself...i thought he was doing a very good job until he got hit in the face with the beer..pro bballers are meant to act like professionals tho but if i were in the street and i got smacked in the head with anything id want to react the same way...
