4age datto ute dizzy saga Sat, 20 November 2004 22:33
Sometimes you do dumb things and I hope converting my datto 1200 ute to Toyota sprinter running gear isnt one of the dumb things. Goes like a rocket but I have no timing advance. I tried one of those Hyperpak units from New Zealand, has anyone had success with these.
Had to put an AE82 dizzy in but they run anticlockwise (now I have vacuum retard)...help

Yeah I got twin sidedraft Dellortos on it from an Alfa 2 litre.
I had to go to an earlier dizzy cause I am not using the computer.
I got rid of the fuel injection because I am running a brake booster and the injection was through the middle of it. Plus when I got the motor and gearbox the wiring loom was all cut and mangled. I live in the bush and there are no experts out my way. The carbs seemed a better idea
