I found TDC #1 using the dial guage amd marking the pulley with the piston a little way down the bore, either side of TDC - Then the point halfway between those two it the exact TDC.
I used a small chisel to mark the pulley then, and filed it smooth so the belt wouldn't get chewed up.
Here you can see the new Nevo tensioner and my new TRD sway bar too! Here is a clear view of the 175mm crank pulley and the new tensioner to the left. Also you can see the new timing pointer mounted on the oil pan - it is held in place by two 10mm oil pan bolts. I removed the original timing pointer by grinding it off.
