hello all,

got a few questions for you...

* 18rg into ra23, straight swap???

* Does the conversion need to be engineered???

* Price of motor and any other parts needed for swap???

Thanks for reading post, appreciate any replies.

Warren

I'll get in before the less patient forums members have their way with you. You're probably best off doing a search.

don't let it happen again Smile

Ah anyway...

The 18rg should swap in pretty easily, there is plenty of people who have done it before im sure.

Regarding engineering, talk to an engineer, it maybe as simple as an change of engine no.

Set yourself a budget for the project, then add an extra $2-4k and u should be ok.

Cheers,
James

I dont know about adding 2k-4k for a 18rg swap...you can buy good engines for around $600 and it will drop straight in..Just remember to get the exhaust manifold and engine pipe as they differ from the 18rc engines. Most places do not require engineering for the swap so just head down to Department of transport and change the engine number.
