Aw11 did come with a 4age only, but people relace them with 4ac ones becuase they are cheaper and rebuild kits for 86kw starters are few and far between (proper rebuilt kits that is)

I couldnt say to tell you the truth i know that the car allways turned over first time and it was out of a low km mr2 so yeah. The guy who used to own it got it serviced religiously by toyota so i would be supprised if it was a 4ac starter.
