I got my new Zoom the other day.
Does anyone know any more about the yellow ra28 in zoom this month
twin turbo 1uz
looks like a wild peice of kit !!

Is it the one from Perth?
If so it ran a low 10, then the driver put it in to the wall.
Nice piece of kit though.

The article claims it did a 9.235 @147.5 mph or 391 kw @wheels with stock internals !!!

You can't miss it, The celica is on the front cover !!
though it may not be in the shops till next week, I have a subscription.
There is a good story on a couple of turbo converted mr2's ( the older shape)as well

Rod it's the one from Western Aus apparently and on it's first run has run a 9 sec pass
Apparently it's making 600kw ? thats hughe and on stock motor but i think this is on methanol? will have to go get this and have a read

It has staged methanol injectors controlled by the MoTeC. Someone post up the article, me thinks Zoom have done it again and pushed the boundaries of truth.
Very nice car though  But purely a drag car, which doesn't really do the car justice.

Interesting car.....
I'm happy with my 1g but i could do with 390kw!!!
Looks like a drag baby though not a street car 
still cool to see a celica that quick and to see what a 1uz can do..
