My 1uz has an 82 deg thermostat.
Gets up to 94 at idle when stationary, this is when the thermo's kick in.
not sure what it sits at when driving, but its less than 88.
Dash Temp guage starts to move at about 98 deg C

I got a 71° TRD thermostat in mine (~165°F) and mine sits around that mark most of the time, sometimes warmer, sometimes cooler depending on (what seems to be) outside air temp and traffic conditions. My thermo fans are on all the time so no probs with cooling it down. What kind of coolant is it running with? Is it running with the right mixture? These issues contributed to me having overheating problems before I switched over the thermostat and coolant for Toyota red.
