3SGTE complete package Mon, 22 November 2004 03:51 Go to next message
Hi,

Need to get rid of a complete 3SGTE out of a jap-spec Group A. Engine had 140k on it according to the dash speedo.

Group A intercooler is gone, but have included a normal ST185 Air to air.

Engine is complete...includes loom, ecu, coil, ignitor, sensors etc.

Make me an offer and come and pick it up...MUST GO in the next 3 weeks as I'm moving and can't take it with me.

Matt

To quote my previous post:

"Make me an offer and come and pick it up...MUST GO in the next 3 weeks as I'm moving and can't take it with me."

So check the going rates of a 3SGTE package and make me an offer.

Sorry...I've just reread my post...I don't mean to sound rude.

I'm hoping that by typing "make me an offer" people will make me an offer and I'll consider them.

If you check, I've advertised this before with prices, which may give you an idea of what I was hoping for...but it's still for sale!!

It's a credit to Matt if he even entertains that offer with a response.

buddy, you asked for an offer, so I made you an offer. If you want to sell something for a set price advertise it at the price you want so you don't get stupid offers like mine.

Jab what?!!?!
Re: 3SGTE complete package Tue, 23 November 2004 16:18 Go to previous messageGo to next message
--------------------------------------------------
Willing to consider splitting loom and ecu from engine. Proposed prices are:

Loom and ECU and sensors $600
Group A Engine bare $900

Or separately
Group A ECU $350
Loom $150
Coil/ignitor $100
Misc other sensors and relays $100
-------------------------------------------------- --

Missing
Hmmmm, turbos are a fair bit.

$800 for engine (with coil and ignitor), ECU & loom; as advertised in this thread? Can keep intercooler.

I have seen engines minus turbo, IC, loom & ECU go for under $500 so dont blow me up and say that is unfair offer and I am an idiot, just simpily say no.

ECU is sold

Need to move the rest.

Prices therefore (for those who don't understand about making offers):

Un cut - loom sensors, AFM, coil etc $100

Three options on motor:

1) long motor $500 (no manifolds, no turbo, no alternator, no PS pump, no mounts) - Adsport for you

2) motor (including all of above and GT4 intercooler, except turbo) $800

3) including turbo (steel wheel) $1100

Need to move this in the next few weeks.

If I wait too long I'll have rock down there with a keg Razz

Also when you say:

2) motor (including all of above and GT4 intercooler, except turbo) $800

Do you mean:
-motor (block, head + internals)
-manifolds
-alternator
-pwr steering pump
-aircon compressor etc.

And usually "long motor" refers to motor and gearbox but I assume that's not the case.

Yes to your first question.

I actually thought a long motor was head, block, crank and pistons...short motor being block and pistons and crank.

Could be wrong though...Adsport...what do you mean by Long motor?

I might be wrong about the "long motor" thing but that's what I've always assumed... probably due to manuals referring to removing the long motor from the car (i.e. head, block and gbox) as opposed to just the block.

A short motor is the block with all internal parts and sump, a long motor is short motor plus head, and a complete motor includes all bolt on parts (ie manifolds, acessories, flywheel or flexplate, ...).
