1G flywheel spacers???

After pulling my 1G auto spring plate thingy off, there were two spacer looking plates, one flat and one with a bit of a lip on it. Are these necessary for the manual flywheel?

No, not from my memory, but you can check by installing a bolt without the washers and making sure it doesn't bottom out.

thanks anyway, i'm about to put the f/wheel on so i'll see what happens. Also, just wondering if the 1GGZE heads were done by yamaha like the turbo heads?

Mine didn't have any such spacer thing. I wouldn't worry about it.
