Provided the 82 model is also a live axle, and not IRS, yes, that will be your best option. The earlier model TA22 may also fit, but they can also use a smaller diff that looks the same, but the centre wont fit.

yeah it isnt independent i no this cause i stuck my head under this arvo do u no if it will be the same ratio as the one that came out it was 4:1

It might be. If the axle code on the build plate says T292, it's definitely a 4.1:1 ratio.
