I know of an 86 Model Soarer going for sale Tue, 23 November 2004 08:17 Go to next message
If anyone is interested, the mechanic i go to has a 1986 model, 2.8 lt engine Soarer going for $3500. If you are interested I can grab his contact details for you. Its gold in color and will come with a RWC. The repairs he has made to it that i can think of is the steering brace (it might not actually be that, or that might not exist, I was on the phone to him at the same time as trying to hold up a 4 tier locker at a pool - i was a tad distracted Rolling Eyes ) but you'd be getting what you paid for at $3500, not fooling anyone.

Cheers All

BTW he is based in Rowville.

Hey everyone hows it going.

The engine model, I am not sure about, as I said i had to rush, tomorrow I will call him and clarify a few things.

Whats wrogn with it? uhm, dunno, I do know the interior could do with some work Rolling Eyes maybe nothign a few seat covers couldnt fix, not sure though. It has been awhile since i saw it.

Pretty sure its not turbo'd, heck it could be a 5m for all i know at the moment.

Rowville, go to dandenong, jump on Stud Road, head inland. Victoria by the way. Cool we got sun at the moment.

Will post tomorrow with better idea of whats going on.

cheers

hey guys, sorry its taking so long, i had to go shopping for a 21st, spent way to much on the bugger, and then had to pull an extra shift to aford it. Rolling Eyes he better appreciate it.

I have the details, as many as i could get - stuck on post it notes all over my monitor - at home.

Since speaking to him he has decided go over the car and fix even more things on it, of course upping the price.
he also wanted me to say i got the price wrong. which just aint gonna happen. So he's asking $5000, but is negotiable. Im not going to try and recall the details ov the car from my girlfriends house just yet, theres not point me screwing it up further though the guys are right, it is a 5M-GEU. I get home later today, should be able to post then, sorry for the wait.
Cheers all

Ok dok (is that how you spell it), now i got them yellow post it bits n pieces. Also, Adrian (the bloke selling the car) said people can drop in to check it out, Revamp Automotive, in Laser Drv off Kellets rd in Rowville Victoria is the place to be heading to.

The info of the car that i could get hold of are:
1986 5M-GEU, so its prob an MZ1* something.
2.8 litre DOHC
If it sits for a couple of days one of the lifters settles, but after five minutes turning over shes fine.
it has recently had yoko tyres put on
200 watt amp and system
Velour interior
TEMS (but these are getting old so dont get excited about it)
The heads were redone a little while back
New headlights (90l/120h) apparently he has rewired the relays so they can handle the power.
By the time anyone gets around to seeing it it will have been detailed.

If i get there anytime soon, i will take a picture or 5 of it.

If you wanted to find out more grab the whitepages and give Adrian at Revamp Automotive a call, as thats where he works.
Did i Mention it comes with a RWC, well it does.
cheers
