ive been offered 2 1/2inch stainless exhaust pipe very cheap to make my exhaust...engine is a 18rgetu that i wanna make into huge power in the end...ive already got a 3inch dump pipe which ill be remaking a stainless one...my question is; will 2 1/2" be big enough for the rest of the exhaust or will it restrict my horsepower...what size should i go to and how do i determine what would be right...Im plaining on atleast 12 second pass and maybe get down close to 11 if possible...only reason i ask is due to the price i can get the 2 1/2" stainless stuff for..
mate i paid 900 bucks for my 2.5 stainless mandrel bent exhaust so if you are paying alot less then this i would go for it..for that type of time i guess you would wana be making 200rwkw i dont think it would be restricting you,especially with the 3"dump......
