GZE Compression Test Figures Tue, 23 November 2004 11:10 Go to next message
Hey all,

Anyone got any compression figures for the 4AGZE (AFM/89' AE92)?

Looking to get a compression test done on this engine
and need some figures to compare to.

I did a search and only could get all but the figures for the 20V.

Cheers

4agze AFM 8:1 c/r should be 156psi to min of 121psi with 14psi or less difference between the cylinders.

Not sure of factory specs, but my 8.9:1 GZE tests 175psi on all four.

175-180 is what my old smallport GZE used to test to.

Oh, and after I destroyed that engine and pulled it to pieces, it was clean enough to eat off of, not full of carbon etc.
