jap spec came in wide or slim guards

jap spec had a better ECU - but only had gains of about 5KW difference

Jap spec had more fancy shit like electric folding back mirrors , seats etc + also leather interior option

Foglamps on Aus specs were side mounted behind the grill mesh , jap ones had the option of two yellow lensed eyeball ones instead
( mine has no foglamps - never had em al all odddly enough )

Aus spec got lesser ecu , But better turbo ( led to believe its the same as the RC/group A - ie not ceramic )

All aus specs were widebody + not speed limited

All Aus specs for certain came with rear torsen LSD's

Aus specs hold their value better + insurance companies prefer them to Grey imports

Thats about it ..

SeeyA!

Yes, there would be a few differences, anti-side intrusion beams in the doors of the OZ models and ECU's loaded with mapping to handle the different fuel sold in each country. There are other differences but I will leave that to other members to chime in.

Edit : C71 beat me in by two minutes ! Well done Sir !

Exactly the same amount as aun Aus one , if not less , being a ceramic turbo .. They have a tendancy to Crap themselves at 14-15 PSI or above

I wouldnt press it any further than 12PSI if everything is stock - or youll be asking your bank manager for a top up loan for a new headgasket/rebuild quicksmart.
