Hey guys i just wanted to know what other options i have to secure my scoop to my bonnet. i bought the scoop today and the guy said that use the double sided tape provided and or urethane stuff but i think i will need something more permanent like epoxy resin or something. If you could assist me in any way i would appreciate it.
Cheers

a lot of universal bonnet scoops have little metal tabs that a screw can be put from underneathe into the tab once holes are drilled through the bonnet to fix the scoop more securely than double sided tape.
if you are planning on cutting out the bonnet under the scoop to make it more functional (only the sheet metal not the underside bracing) you could use fibreglass to permantly bond the scoop to the bonnet. make sure you scuff the scoop and the paint thouroghly around the area you might fibreglass to ensure a good bond from the scoop to the bonnet. (this goes for the top side as well (if you wanna glass the seam to the top side of the bonnet, which i recomend).

Cheers feral4mr2 thats what i was thinking but the guy at SSV who sold it to me said that the bond will most likely crack. But i am going to do it anyway and mould it into the bonnet so that u cannot see the seam.

glass it properly, underside where it meets the metal from the bonnet (if you can get to it) as well as the top and it shouldnt crack at all.
use some weave cloth or thin chopped strand, bit of bog, primer filler and paint it. then post some pics.
