Hi guys, I'm a newbie on here and just wantd to ask if anyone out there knows anything about getting a 8 point rollcage fitted and what are the legal requirements for it to be street legal?
costs?
like does it have to be done by a shop or only have to be certified by an engineer.
I respect the fact that alot of you guys on here are hands on like myself with your cars so hopefully someone can point me in the right directions.
not to be an ass, but there are quite a few recent discussions on the topic, plus im sure some good older ones too. also depends on what you want it for, if you just want it to be street legal, your best to speak with the engineer youll be dealing with prior, as it often upto their intrpretation of whats legal. then if you ever intend to race the car, CAMS rules come into play.. they do have a site.
