i just bought this 17" wheel for my celica 86 ST162... Do you think it is too big for my car?? or should i stick with 15" or 16" ones..

I've got 17s on my Celica and it looks fully siik!
Both cars are about the same size and same shape.

Depends if you're after look or ride?
Although 17s can still work well.
I've got them on my car too, but coz of all the extra body of my car, sometimes I think they look too small
Just be prepared for the tramlining, especially on Melbourne's tram tracks.

I think the tramlining is more an aspect of the tyres and the width of the tyres.

17x7" with 205/40s fit without any problem on a 162, any larger and you will start having clearance issues. Also, if you are planning on fitting lowered springs, it would be a good idea to have the guards rolled.

I found 40 profile fits. 45 doesn't.
